Narrati Snippets collects only website text content from pages you are viewing, and only when you explicitly click the “Analyze Content” button within the extension. This includes:

  • Text content from the active browser tab
  • Selected text if you have highlighted specific content on the page

We do not collect:

  • Financial data
  • Authentication credentials
  • Personal communications
  • Location data
  • Web browsing history
  • User activity metrics

3. How We Use Your Data

The website content we collect is used solely for:

  • Temporary transfer to the Narrati analysis tool
  • Generating creative writing prompts based on the content

The extension does not:

  • Use your data for advertising
  • Build user profiles
  • Track your browsing behavior
  • Analyze your content for any purpose other than generating writing prompts

4. Data Storage and Security

All collected content is:

  • Stored temporarily in your browser’s local storage
  • Never transmitted to our servers
  • Automatically deleted after being pasted to the Narrati analysis page
  • Never retained beyond the completion of the analysis process
  • Not stored in any persistent databases

5. Data Sharing

The only external service your content is shared with is the Narrati analysis tool (narrati.io), which processes the text to generate story prompts. The content is transferred by:

  • Opening a new tab to narrati.io/analysis-page/
  • Automatically pasting the collected content into the analysis form

We do not share your data with any other third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

6. User Control and Rights

You maintain full control over what content is collected by:

  • Initiating collection only when you choose to click the “Analyze Content” button
  • Selecting specific text on a page if you wish to analyze only that portion
  • Being able to clear your browser’s local storage to remove any temporarily stored content

7. Children’s Privacy

Narrati Snippets is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this policy.

The Narrati Snippets extension and the Narrati analysis tool may be accessed globally. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of your data to the servers where Narrati is hosted.
